In March 2023, the holding company has ceased to be the parent of Silicon Valley Bank, subsequent to the closure of the latter by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, and FDIC. Amid this crisis, SVB Financial also has filed for bankruptcy. It used to offer a range of deposit services; loans and credit facilities such as equipment loans, asset-based loans, accounts-receivable-based lines of credit, term loans, credit cards, and capital call lines of credit; treasury management, investment products, private wealth management services, and foreign exchange and trade financing solutions.
