The People's Insurance Company (Group) of China Ltd (PICC), formerly PICC Holding Company, is a state-owned insurance company. It offers a range of life and non-life insurance products. The group provides insurance products for accident, universal life, general life, family property, travel, auto, health, personal credit loan guarantee and performance guarantee. It also offers cargo insurance, credit guarantee insurance, special risk insurance, engineering performance guarantee insurance, employer liability insurance, export product liability insurance, safety production liability insurance, and technological equipment insurance. The group distributes products through bancassurance, individual insurance agent and group sales channel. PICC is headquartered in Beijing, China. The group reported gross written premiums of CNY585,425 million for the fiscal year ended December 2021 (FY2021), an increase of 3.9% over that in FY2020. Its net written premiums were CNY538,367 million in FY2021, an increase of 3.7% over that in FY2020.
